"Postgraduate course that you would consider taking in the future"



My favourite area of my career is the costume design, but the knowledge that the university give you is very basic, so a postgraduate course that i'm really considerating is a Haute Couture course.
since I was a young boy, I have admired the greatest designers like Christian Dior or fashion houses like Chanel or Versace for the influence that its designs can do in the life of the people. Even the most avant-garde and rebel designers like Alexander McQueen or Vivienne Westwood, whit their ideas made contributions to the way that the people see the fashion design, influencing the pop culture or taking elements of subcultures.

I think that the fashion is a good specular tool to see the society, you can see the history and even the different storys of a age, a comunity or a country, the clothe is one of the primary representations of the "myself" construction; it say a lot of your personality or the way that you see the world, so I think that this is a magnificent tool to incorporate to my designer skills because the theatre is other specular tool where the society can see itself.

I can do clothes designs and costume designs, but whit poor terminations because in the theatre the people see your designs from a long distance, so the details aren't soo important. but im a perfectionist and I feel that i need more skils to make more perfect creations and I think that a course of Haute couture could give it to me.
